Matt McNeil, a native of High Point, NC, graduated from NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in 1994. He furthered his education at North Carolina School of the Arts where his award winning short films put him at the top of his class.

Despite his success in television production, Matt has not abandoned his desire to write and direct. In August of 2007, he was invited to write, direct and shoot a 48 hour film festival entry. For the contest, teams were given two days to write, direct, shoot, and finish a film in 48 short hours. Not only did the film, “Jobeth,” win “Best Film” of the festival, Matt was honored with the “Best Director” award for his work on the project. The film went on to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Since that time he and his team became the first group to ever shoot and deliver a 48 hour film in 3D. Other recent directing assignments have included the video open to Jeff Dunham’s Spark of Insanity live show, The title sequence for Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza with Tracy Morgan on TBS, the promo for Jamie Foxx’s music video “Just Like Me,” and the proof of concept for 10 Things I hate About Myself for the Style Network.
